The Catalyst Labs x LaunchCats Series officially launched on Friday, February 20, 2026, with its first event held at EngineWorks in QCORE Room 101 at Montana State University.
The kickoff session featured Magali Eaton, Chief Innovation Officer (CIO) of QCORE and Associate Director of Montana State University’s Technology Transfer Office. During the event, Eaton shared insights on the innovation journey and discussed resources available to entrepreneurs on campus.
Introducing the Builders Thinkers Space
Hosted by Catalyst Labs x LaunchCats, the Builders Thinkers Space is designed as a gathering place for MSU builders and innovators to learn, connect, and collaborate.
The initiative also includes a monthly Speaker Series that will highlight leaders from across MSU’s innovation community and provide opportunities for participants to engage with the speakers and learn from their experiences.
A New Speaker Series at QCORE
The Catalyst Labs x LaunchCats Series brings speakers from the university’s innovation ecosystem together with students and campus innovators. The February kickoff marks the beginning of ongoing programming intended to support collaboration and community-building among MSU innovators.
